Hi, name is Cecilia but my friends call me Susie. I am a mental health blogger, advocate, and empowerment coach in training. I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker a.k.a therapist. Ive been working in the community mental health field for 8 years now. I am a lot of things, but most importantly I am the mom to a beautiful smart 5 year old daughter. If you are a parent you know how our children can completely change our lives. 

One thing I've learned working in the mental health field is that nobody is perfect. We all have a past and our own barriers to overcome.

Ive been through a lot of challenges in my life, and am a believer that through our challenges we discover purpose. Im still on that journey and learning while I help others. I'll share some of those experiences here. Hopefully we are able to connect through our goals and life experiences. Or maybe even create a space where someone someday finds a story they relate to.
